The problem we solve

Right now, someone is asking about you. You won't hear the answer.

A broker weighing up a deal. A family deciding who to trust with their home. An investor doing their homework at midnight. They ask a colleague, a BDM, a search bar, and now AI. Each one repeats whatever the market says about you, true or not.

You earned your reputation the hard way: honest answers, phones picked up, problems owned. That should be the story told about you. Too often, it isn't.

So we start where trust starts: listening to what people really think of you, and why. Then we make sure the story told about you is the true one, in every room and on every screen.

AI is the newest place your reputation gets repeated. It won't be the last. We build trust that holds up wherever the question is asked.

Our difference

The difference is Nifty.

Most agencies learn your industry on your budget. Neville “Nifty” Anitelea has spent 27 years inside it: running broker channels at Westpac and St.George, sitting in the CMO chair at lenders, and judging Best Service and Best BDM at the Australian Mortgage Awards.

He knows what a broker needs at 4pm on a Friday, what a board needs on a Monday, and what a journalist needs before deadline. He's been the one taking the call when a turnaround blows out.

And he's never forgotten where he started: Whalan, Mount Druitt, where your word was all you had.

Quiet in the work. Loud in the celebration.

How we work

The ACG Authority Equation™

Every moment, good or bad, counts. Multiplied over time, they earn you the right to be chosen first.

WHERE MOMENTS HAPPENTruthVoicePartnerRecoveryTrustedMomentsCompoundingValuesTHE RESULTCommercialAuthority×=WHERE MOMENTS HAPPENTruthVoicePartnerRecoveryTrustedMomentsCompoundingValuesTHE RESULTCommercialAuthority×=
What each part means

Trusted Moments

The frequency of honest, useful contact. An honest no inside the hour counts as much as a fast yes.

Compounding Values

The visible, repeatable way you work: appetite published, timelines stated, one process for every broker.

Commercial Authority

The right to be chosen first, by brokers, customers, partners and investors.

Truth

The facts you own, written so a broker or a machine can find them.

Voice

What your leaders say, consistently, for long enough to become the answer.

Partner

What brokers say about you, in their own words.

Recovery

How you behave in the lows. The one that matters most.

How to start

Start with one honest conversation.

Tell us where you are on the wheel. Most clients start with a free Trust Check, then choose the work that fits their stage.

  1. Trust Check

A 45-minute conversation on your stage, your stakeholders and what they say about you today, from brokers and staff to the press, search and AI.

    Free
  2. Stage plan

Sentiment research and a reputation scorecard across Truth, Voice, Partner and Recovery, with a ranked plan for your stage and your executive team.

    Fixed fee, a few weeks
  3. Monthly rhythm

Corporate affairs, trade media, leadership voice, broker advocacy and support when service slips, as your business moves around the wheel.

Teams and creative capability

Creativity at the heart of every team, and every team member.

Great marketing teams run on one big idea and a creative rhythm that turns it into work, week after week. We help you build both, then put your media budget behind the work that earns it.

  3. Media that earns its spend

Channels, budgets and content tested and optimised against the next link in the chain, not impressions.

The modern marketer

We develop people using the principles of strategic brand management: positioning, brand equity and consistent measurement. Every team member grows into five roles at once.

Anitelea Consulting Group launches to help lenders and brokers own the answer as AI becomes the first port of call

Sydney consultancy founded by former lending CMO Neville “Nifty” Anitelea opens with Gift of Knowledge, a free industry newsletter, and a free AI answer snapshot for lenders, aggregators and fintechs.

Read the full release

SYDNEY, October 2026: Anitelea Consulting Group (ACG), a corporate affairs, reputation and marketing consultancy for lenders, brokers, wealth advisers and fintechs, has launched with a focus on answer engine optimisation (AEO).

Brokers and borrowers now put their first questions to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google’s AI Overviews and Microsoft Copilot, often before they call a BDM or open a lender’s website. Which lender is quickest on turnaround? Who looks after self-employed borrowers? Who picks up the phone when a deal goes wrong?

The answers come from what is already published about a lender: trade media, websites, reviews, broker comments and executive posts. If that material is thin, out of date or inconsistent, the AI answer will be too.

AEO in plain terms

SEO helps you get found in search results. SEM is paying to appear there. AEO makes sure that when someone asks an AI a question about your business, the answer it gives is true, current and fair. Most lenders already invest in the first two. Few know what the machines are saying about them.

“Brokers and their clients are asking AI about you before they ever ask you,” said ACG founder Neville Anitelea. “Most lenders have no idea what that answer is, and many are surprised when they see it. AEO isn’t a tech trick. It’s the oldest rule in our industry written for a new audience: do what you say, say it the same way every time, and look after people when things go wrong. Get that right and the machines repeat it.”

Gift of Knowledge: the launch edition

ACG launched with Gift of Knowledge, a free fortnightly LinkedIn newsletter that answers real questions from lenders, brokers and industry leaders. The first edition, So what does AI say about you?, published on 12 October.

It answers a question Anitelea was once asked by a former CFO: if brokers and customers are asking about us before they ask us, how do we know what they’re saying, and how do we put a number on it?

The edition sets out four layers that shape an AI answer about any lender: Truth (the facts you own), Voice (what your leaders say), Partner (what brokers say in their own words) and Recovery (how you behave when things go wrong). It also introduces the ACG Authority Equation™: Trusted Moments × Compounding Values = Commercial Authority, the right to be chosen first.

“Gift of Knowledge is exactly what it sounds like,” Anitelea said. “Someone in our industry asks a real question, and we answer it in the open, for free. If you have a question you’d like answered, send it in.”

A free ten-question snapshot

To mark the launch, ACG is offering lenders, aggregators and fintechs a free snapshot. The business shares ten questions its brokers ask most, and ACG shows what leading AI tools say in reply, with a short read-out of what is right, what is missing and what is wrong.

About the founder

Anitelea has 31 years in marketing, 27 of them in financial services. He has led broker channel marketing at Westpac Group and St.George, held CMO roles in lending, and judged the Best Service and Best BDM categories at the Australian Mortgage Awards from 2019 to 2021.
